Uno Music Studios

Luis Villa has taken deliver of an AWS 900 console for his recording and production studios, Uno Music in Spain.

Luis Villa has been working in the music business since 1997, working as a professional engineer, producer, songwriter and musician. Luis started out as a singer, and in 1998 he came 4th out of 28 countries in the International Festival OTI hosted in Spain (similar to the Eurovision song contest but sung in Spanish).

Luis has written songs for famous Spanish artists, such as Tamara who have gained 3 platinum albums. He has engineered bands such as Cafe Quijano, Luis Miguel, Papa Levante plus many others.

Currently Luis has been producing albums for Melon Diesel (now know as Taxi), Manuel Orta, Cortes amongst others.

Luis decided to install an AWS 900 for Uno Music because he had previously worked with the SL 9000 J series console and believes that "The SSL sound is the best sound ever". Luis comments that the AWS 900 has made his job easier to do, and has improved his results. His clients are extremely pleased with the sound of his productions, as is he.

When Luis was asked whether the AWS 900 had solved any specific problems for him, he replied: "This is very simple to answer...BEST SOUND, BEST SOUND and BEST SOUND...is there anything more important?".
