This is an excellent opportunity for a GUI/UI Designer to join SSL’s prestigious R&D team. The successful applicant will be required to deliver compelling and intuitive GUI and UI design concepts for consoles and DAW plug-ins and work together with product managers and R&D in the development of new and innovative products. Main objectives of role:

  • Work with product managers and the R&D team to generate and iterate user interface and product design concepts.
  • Contribute throughout the product design cycle by gathering requirements, producing documentation, conceptualising, and rendering completed assets.
  • Develop new concepts for products whilst maintaining consistency and the legacy GUI and UI design styles.
  • Develop design concepts that convey the brand values of Solid State Logic.

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in graphic design.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a thorough understanding of user-centric design principles and elegant workflow interaction.
  • Proficient in industry-standard pixel and vector design packages.


  • An interest in audio and music production.
  • An eye for simplicity and elegance while delivering compelling user interface workflows.
  • Knowledge of 3D modelling and CAD.
